HRP help

my mom doesn’t get a full pension and when we look at her NI contributions online she has missing years so this lead us to look at the HRP that she may be able to claim. She had 10 years of full contributions before she had her first child in 1975. So she should have HRP from 1978 until her last child turned 18 in 1998. So that would mean she would have 30 years contributions. Her records online show many of these years as no contributions which I would think means she hasn’t had the HRP applied. We applied and have had a letter back saying she hasn’t all her HRP applied and she’s owed nothing. I don’t understand it to be honest. Can anyone explain this or has anyone been told no and challenged it and had a different outcome. She gets less than half of what the current pension is which doesn’t seem right if she has 30 years worth of contributions. Thanks in advance for any advice

As I understand it (but could be wrong) HRP doesn't always show up as a NI credit - instead it was applied as a reduction on the number of years required when calculating the state pension.
When did your mother reach state Pension age and how much is she getting ?0 -
How many years credits has your mother got?
HRP would reduce the number of years your mother needed for full state pension., not give her NI credits. So, you will not see years with credits.HRP only applied until the child was 16.
