Refund on Subscription - Help Needed

Hi
I have been looking for a suitable violin teacher for my nephew. I wanted a tutor who could come and teach him at home rather than online. I found a website whereby you can choose a tutor from a 'library' of possibilities. I found only one on the site who fit the bill and was nearby. The website stated that you message the tutor, they accept whether they can take you on, and then you pay the subscription.
I sent the message, the tutor accepted, my payment was taken. Two days later, the tutor declined and said he had moved house and was too far away to travel to my nephew's address. Am I entitled to a refund on my subscription as the tutor accepted and then declined? I've looked on the site and there's no other tutor suitable. I've cancelled any further subscription payments but i'd like to get my initial subscription payment back as i've now paid for something (someone!)I can't hire. Am I covered by anything under the Consumer Rights Act 2015?
Thanks for any advice,

yes, of course - you paid for a service which you have not received ( although the devil will be in the detail of the T&Cs of the contract you've entered into ).
Have you checked the T&Cs?
Have you asked for a refund?0 -
