    There’s no reason for me thinking that I don’t have to pay ultimately, but as the house is now back on the market, I’m surprised to have a bill at this stage. I’m also unaware of any searches they’ve done other than asking me to carry out searches and send them copies of proof. They did put together the contract and they did pull together all the information required by the buyer’s solicitors albeit via directly asking me for all the documents. (I wouldn’t have had a clue what to source in what order without them), so I’m not suggesting that they haven’t done work that needs paying for.
