BW Legal - Random Recorded Phone Call

StarryKnight1

I am unsure whether this was the right catagory to post under, but it seems that BW Legal are mentioned on here mostly with parking.
I had today 15th Oct 25, a recorded phone call from BWLegal, out of the blue!
I assumed it to be one of the numerous scam/sales calls we get these days.
It seemed to be offering me a financial service and mentioned a letter they sent me, as I have had no letter from them, i ignored it until I put "BWLEGAL SCAM" in my search engine.
MSE came up and I could see it was a company chasing debt.
I have no debt as far as I am aware paying bills proptly and had no demands from anyone for any payments, this included parking, so I was completely at a loss why I got the recorded call.
I had a choice to insert ref number from the letter I hadn't had, but when I clicked "I dont know it option" the send a message option vanished.
I clicked on the online chat but that went nowhere.
I haven't got a ref number to telephone
So I am stressed out worrying what it's all about.
What do I do in this situation - is there anyone I could contact to find out what it's all about?
I got caught last year by a similar legal-scam and had to pay over half my monthly pension to prevent a CCJ which was just like this, where I had had no letters until one from the court arrived, a day after one from a collection agency like this - I am sure it was done on purpose - and in that instance although I wasn't guilty (the camera caught me turning around in the car park twice while trying to find an address in terrible weather and the the car park in question was half flooded by the river) when I went on the parking companies site I found a link that said pay or dispute, but when that page appeared there was no place to dispute only to pay.

I tried to reply to the call but the number was not included in the callers to my phone.
I went on their website to contact them, but it does not allow direct emails - (as mentioned in another thread on this site)I had a choice to insert ref number from the letter I hadn't had, but when I clicked "I dont know it option" the send a message option vanished.

You will have to ring them up and ask them but DO NOT BE BULLIED INTO PAYING.
Do you drive?
It could be about a private PCN and the letters went to your old address (usual reason is due to you not updating your logbook address).
However BW Legal also chase other debts.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Coupon-mad
Yes I drive, but as I said cant see that I have overstayed or parked where I shouldnt, I can't afford to after the last scam
I have lived at this address for over 20 years so doubt it
however we do get a problem with wrong post st times as the PO refuse to take Kidderminster out of our address even though we are no where near it. and there is a road with the same name as ours in Kidderminster.0 -
As Coupon-mad says ... ring them but be ware, they have trained hit men who will try all tricks to make you pay. NEVER PAY BWLEGAL OR AGREE TO ANYTHING1

Their email is
disputeresolution@bwlegal.co.uk
Better than ringing because you have a paper trail.Just with your phone number, asking what it was regarding.1
