  • Because it was 1.5 months ago and used cash.

The reply I received from PPH:

My colleagues have forwarded your email to me as I look after the Commercial Property Management Team, within PPH.

I can confirm that Friars Gate/Church View in Doncaster is a site we are not involved with, in any way. By that I mean it is not a site we manage for an owner, nor are we the Principal Landowner.

It's a mystery who the landlord on this site is...

OK, so reply to them telling them that and politely tell them how horrified you are to be sued for shopping there. Your family will never return, etc. you know the style!

Update: I explained that l disposed the receptionist and the requested to cancel the parking charge as a good will gesture and this is what l received from B&M:

Thank you for your email and I am sorry to hear that you have received a parking ticket.

It is unfortunate that restrictions and charges need to be imposed due to non B&M customers using the car park, and customers using our car park as base while they continue shopping etc with other retailers or attending other appointments.

We have no direct control over these penalty notices as they are issued and controlled by the car park management company working with the landlord of the property. The company who manage the car parks are open to reviewing parking tickets when a customer is able to provide details of purchases (receipt or bank statement) in our stores at the time the ticket was received. All contact details for the parking company will be on the letter you have received.

I have sent a cancelation request to smart parking but as you paid cash and do not have the receipt they may not cancel.

Smart parking will be in contact with you.

I do hope that this incident does not deter you from shopping with B&M in the future and we look forward to seeing you in one of our stores.

Should Smart Parking contact me to inform about the decision taken? Or how would l know if they cancel it or not and l have to pay?

You can log in and see if it's cancelled. Probably is, if the landowner requested it.
