Ebay and DRS trying to claim debt I don't think I should be have been given

About a year ago I sold my wireless printer on eBay for £25... The buyer received the parcel and claimed it was not turning on however I put photos of the printer on and working when advertised. I took the buyer through some basic troubleshooting and they claimed it was still broken.
Okay, send it back and I'll refund you. One week later, eBay have taken a refund payment from my account and refunded the buyer. I have never received the printer back and eBay are now charging me a £55 refund processing fee for them giving a refund from my account.

I stopped using eBay in the following weeks and have heard nothing until about two weeks ago when DRS began emailing, texting and calling me to claim this debt back. How they have my number, I'll never know.

Do I have to pay the processing fee for a refund I had not accepted or received the return for? If I ignore it will it go away?

You don't have to pay it and chances are if you ignore it nothing much more than a debt collector pestering you will happen and, eventually, that will stop. There is always an outside (almost zero) chance that the debt collector or Ebay will take you to court.

You don't say whether you've disputed it with Ebay. Perhaps if you explain why it ended up at £55. What were the exact charges and did you try tracking the printer?
