Living in partner’s home - advice needed

My girlfriend and I have been together 18 months and I am around hers most of the time. I own a property with a mortgage and she owns with a mortgage, albeit much smaller than mine.
Our plan is to officially live together at hers and ultimately I will rent out my flat. We’ll pay our own mortgages/service charge etc but we will split bills and groceries etc. There are no issues with how this will workz
I’m not planning on renting out the flat for a few months still as things are too busy to be sorting everything out. In the interim, rather than having to keep popping back to check the post, I had planned to set up a royal mail redirect. However the options are all based on ‘moving home’ and I need to select either home owner or renting for my ‘new address’. Presumably what I put here and the new address has no bearing on anything beyond Royal Mail?
I guess I am also wondering at what point do I change my address in various places and get added to her council tax, when I am neither a co-owner or a tenant. Until I rent mine out I am still paying my own council tax, so what is the situation with this while I am somewhere else and my property will be empty? A bit of advice would be appreciated please.
Thanks

You are not "added to her Council Tax", she just loses her 25% single person discount when you move in on a permanent basis. At which point, you will lose your 25% SPD on your flat as it is no longer anybody's home and if you leave it empty for too long, you may have to pay an "empty home premium"If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Ok thanks, yes sorry I worded that incorrectly regarding the council tax.0

Depending on how far your flat is, it may be quicker to pop back for the post than wait for Royal Mail to redirect it!0
