Help with MET Parking / ZZPS Charge – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping for some advice. Over the summer, I received a parking ticket from MET Parking after overstaying at my gym (it has a 3-hour limit). I was there with my daughter swimming, and as a genuine member, I thought the gym would be able to get the ticket cancelled. I was only 20 mins over. 

I spoke with them at the time and assumed they’d contacted MET, but it looks like they didn’t. I’ve now received a letter from ZZPS saying “action required” and that I need to pay £170.

Could someone please advise what my best course of action is at this stage?

• Should I contact MET directly, ZZPS, or both?

• Is it still possible for the gym to intervene now?

• And what happens if I ignore ZZPS?

Any guidance on what to say or who to write to would be massively appreciated.

Neither,  ignore them for now,  especially powerless debt collectors letters like from ZZPS 

Yes, plan A is always in play

A Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice,  followed by an N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL to arrive in the post
