Do I need to inform that I don't need a TV licence?

Household and address are not synonymous.
But if the question was "Do you or does anyone at your address ever watch TV on any channel?", my answer would still be "yes".
What they should be asking is "Do you or does anyone in your household ever watch TV on any channel whilst at this address?" I could truthfully answer "no" to that.
But answering "no" to the question as currently worded would not be truthful or accurate, and I would not advise anyone to make a false "declaration" to TVL - even if TVL don't have your name.

I don't think it's a question of whether "we really know what they mean". The issue is whether it's part of a wider pattern of abusive and dishonest communication from BBC/TVL, the reasons why that is occurring and how it can be addressed.
Even in the context of NLN, one key piece of information is missing - and that is that the entire NLN process is voluntary. Consequently, it remains unclear what it's for. Without that information, it doesn't really matter how accurate the questions are - they are not necessary to complete, and anyone with any concerns has a simple option not to complete them.
More specifically, there are only two of the various combinations of status vs. NLN answers that matter - where you get the answers right and they register your address on the NLN list and you are NLN, and where they register you but your status isn't correct (whether you know that or are confused by inaccurate info). Every other combination doesn't matter, and nothing will come of it - they will simply tell you that you need a Licence and you should get one. Maybe there is a click-through?

I told them once to get my refund and refuse to do so again. Amazon Prime don't send threat'o'grams which I cancelled when they
increased the price then added adverts stating I could pay more to remove them. I chose no and no thanks goodbye.
I only open the TVL threat'o'grams for amusement and that is how you should treat them. Not once has anyone turned up on or
near the date they claim someone 'may' visit.
When I first cancelled the licenced I received 3 letters within a week, but nothing then for almost 2 years where we recieved
letters stating the declaration was going to expire. I only did it the first time to get my refund.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Have Netflix?
Have Prime?
I don't know the ins & outs but would VPN's be a workaround to this?
And if yes then I can see something being attempted to be put in place to block VPNs, such as if you have a VPN activated then Netflix wont work.

Is there meant to be a link in your post?

Why?
Would you like it removing?

There's a video in there (now at least) perhaps your add-ons or browser are blocking it?

Not sure the block in that video actually understands who is currently required to pay the licence fee.
But then I'm sure he gets the clicks.

No now at least about it. Take a look at my post & you'll see it hasn't been edited at all.
He's done numerous videos on TV licencing as they keep hounding him. I'd say he probably does understand.

In his more recent videos, he has become pretty accurate. However, his perspective is always from the law and he hasn't accumulated the weight of TVL lore that some of us have.
