Hiding number

Is it possible to make a call on a mobile, Android, while hiding the number?
My memory gives me dialing 1471 before the number, or was that a landline?
TIA
David.

Dialing *\*67 before the phone number for a single call, or there's a setting under call options to hide your number onwards.
"1471" after receiving a call on a (BT) landline would tell you who the caller was, if they hadn't withheld their number by dialling "141" before the number.3 -
There will also be something in your settings where you can turn off showing the number, but that is for all calls until you change it back again.
on my work Samsung, it’s hidden away under supplementary services in settings.I have just tested 141 (not 1471) and it does withhold the number when I phoned my landline. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1
