i would expect retailer to ask. But YES, they should they go back. As retailer could use that as a reason to reject the chargeback.Okell said:If it is a chargeback then does he need to send the shoes back again?

Just as a final comment - my son has had it confirmed that the chargeback was successful and the bank have closed the case. He has a full refund and we will contact the company to arrange return of the shoes.2

As I am sure I also pointed out much earlier in this thread, a chargeback makes no judgement about the rights and wrongs of the dispute between the customer and the retailer. In theory they have six years in which to decide whether to pursue what they feel you owe through the courts.0
