Checking my previous bank accounts

Hi all,
I'm interested in the Barclays bank switch offer but I'm unsure if I've switched to them before as I've not got the paperwork of previous accounts.
Is there anyway I can check who I've been with and on what dates please
Kind regards mark

    1. Search email archives for bank name
    2. Check transactions to/from accounts you still have
    3. Check credit files from all three agencies for reference to closed accounts
    4. Submit Subject Access Request to any bank to ascertain what personal data they hold about you, which should include account opening/closing history unless too long ago

If you check your details with the credit reference agencies you will see any open or closed accounts from the last 6 years.
