Bulkhead wardrobe

I have a box room with a cupboard like this above the bulkhead. I need to adapt it if poss and put a bookcase into the side to hold a PC tower etc. Has anyone done this and would I have to have the whole thing redone or could a hole be cut out and a bookcase put in and made good. Any idea of cost??

Anything is possible. Get a joiner round to price it up for you. It looks like your current one is MDF. Just be careful using MDF for anything that will take any weight like shelves etc as it does need a bit of extra thought to stop it bowing over time.
