The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a junior suite at the five-star Mar Hall in Renfrewshire – part of JA Resorts & Hotels. In 240 acres of forested grounds, with a par-70 championship golf course beside the Clyde, the 19th-century resort has emerged from a £20 million refurb with sumptuous interiors, a luxury spa and revitalised restaurants and bars. The executive chef Tony Tapia brings an innovative touch to ingredients such as Berwick crab, Orkney scallops and Perthshire beef in the Dining Room, while the Gallery has a marble-topped champagne bar.
The prize includes a three-course dinner for two in the Dining Room (excluding drinks) and a round of golf for two or a 55-minute massage each. It must be taken before April 30, 2026, subject to availability and excluding December 20 to January 5 and March 28 to April 12.
