Hobbs repeating same mistake with order! Poor customer service

I ordered a few items in Hobbs’ sale. Did the same in April.

Annoyingly on BOTH occasions they sent the items to my old address! My current address is my ‘default’ address when I login.

just venting as the customer service has been so bad. I actually returned items via the store last time and was told they would be sent to the address I inputted when I ordered!! They clearly have a fault on their system as I didn’t then and I didn’t last week. Same thing happened and I’ve emailed customer services who said I must have given the old address. I simply didn’t.

its only happened with Hobbs so they are effectively gaslighting me and have now offered a refund even though I haven’t asked for one. I just want the items!!! Why is it so difficult do they make so much profit that they can’t be bothered with business ?!! Grrr!

I have found my delivery address to default to my previous one on Amazon, even after receiving many orders to my current address.

It has also happened with an online store I use.

The account address does not change , only the delivery one.

I don't have anything helpful to add, but I enjoyed you got the words hobbs and gaslighting into the same sentence.

If you remove your old address  from your delivery addresses then that would stop any repeat occurrence.

I thought I had done that. It now seems correct.

Gaslighting is a modern phrase meaning to manipulate someone into believing something obviously untrue to a neutral observer. But you missed the "joke". When you were young you probably had a gas hob that you needed to light. Gaslighting and hobbs. Wow a joke explained is even less funny than it was when I typed it.
