    Seems odd that two similar houses are on the market at two such different prices- nearly 20% difference.
    Even if the cheaper house is not for you, I would maybe have a look around it, to get as accurate a comparison as possible.
    Thank you for your reply, they were the ones most recently sold last year 108k in March 2024 and 150k in July 2024, maybe some negotiations or bidding competition then another one sold subject to contracts for 119,950 almost identical but no garage 🤯
    According to the Nationwide regional house price index, prices have risen since March 2024 by 7% and by 5% from July 2024.
    However the North East  covers a wide area,  and there can be significant local differences.

    Being nosey, is it the one with crazy wallpaper behind the TV? If so, and I was looking, I'd check if there's loft access, as (other than the garage) it looks light on storage space

    It is! The blue patterned one, yeah definitely quite compact, half boarded loft. Thinking I'll seek some other viewings for comparison 😊
