Who's right?

Hi,
Just bought a new kitchen complete with several integrated appliances using my credit card.  Kitchen and appliances were delivered in early September and subsequently installed - appliances by a fully accredited electrician.  I registered all the appliances for the 2 year warranty.  After more than the initial 30 day period since purchase, the microwave is now not working.  Makes all the right noises, displays what it should display but the turntable does not turn and food does not heat.  I contacted the vendor of the kitchen and they are insisting that I should contact the microwave manufacturer under the warranty.  Who is right please?

Thanks.
