I had a similarish issue with SW where they mistakenly transferred cash to my SIPP via Origo before receiving my specific instructions. Once I alerted them, they raised a complaint on my behalf, admitted full responsibility, and offered me some compensation.
I realise you are in a different situation having unwittingly spent the money, but hopefully a complaint process will afford you some leniency on how/when to pay this back, and buy you some extra time.
