Charter Bank Sharp practice

I'll just move it elsewhere as others have pointed out Charter's current fixed rate offers are not competitive at the moment.Though they are better than what Kent Reliance offered me at maturity for a 1 year fixed rate which was something like 3.55%!!0

Yes I seem to have accounts with a lot of different providers with a solitary £1 in them. Obviously they must have had market leading rates at some time in the past. I have a Charters fix maturing next month, looks like it will get relegated to a £1 account.Albermarle said:
Sometimes these savings providers simply have no need to attract more money. Could be the demand for loans/finance, or whatever they use the savings money for , has gone a bit slow.WOTSWOT said:https://www.chartersavingsbank.co.uk/AtAGlance
I don't find any savings rates from charter attractive at the moment and there are no easy access products available at all. I am not sure whether this is a short term situation or a fundamental change in the way charter savings works.0
