Hi,

our Hyundai ix35 is coming to the end of its life and we need to invest in a new family car.   I have around £11k.

what would a reliable, suv type car look like?  Which model and typically what mileage should I be looking at?

thanks in advance for any advice.

The ix 35 was made from 2009-2015. Main rivals were the Ford Kuga and Kia Sportage

If you are happy with the ix35, maybe look at the Tucson that replaced it or that generation Sportage. You should get a good 2020 model for 11k if you search around. Maybe 60-80k miles.

If you were going to leave that stable, probably the Skoda Karoq is the one to look at
