I'd get it touch with this person and do both your claims together:1

Do a POPLA appeal same as explained in the other thread just now.pixie_man said:Hi I got a PCN for staying 1h12min in the carpark. I paid for 1 hour stay. I appealed with Euro Car Park on the grounds that I was within 15 min before and after., but tey obvioulsy said they reject my appeal. I wonder now if I should bother with Popla or just wait for the court case to come through... What is your recent expirience with Popla? Are they pro scammers or pro law...? Thanks in advance.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, so I missed the POPLA deadline to appeal and waited for the standard letters…Received Letter of Claim back in January and responded with the below:
Claimant: Euro Car Parks LimitedI refer to your letter of claim issued on 20.01.2026.I confirm that my address for service for the time being is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:xxxxx
As stated previously in my appeal with Euro Car Parks, the parking was paid within the grace period of minimum 20min as per the BPA Core of Practice.
You should revert to your client because the 'propensity to pay' score in my case is zero, so any claim is hopeless and a waste of the court fee (whether 'fronted' by your firm or not). Move on to weaker victims. The alleged 'debt' is disputed, and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.
In response to my email I received this from UKPC:
"We write to acknowledge safe receipt of your formal response to our Letter of Claim sent to you in respect of this matter.
Having considered your response, our position in respect of this matter remains as per our Letter of Claim. We note that despite your points of dispute, there is an absence of any evidence in support of the same so that we may consider this with our Client. If you do have evidence which you believe supports your dispute, please furnish us with the same within the 30 days afforded to you.
As it stands, the initial 30 day timeframe under the Pre-Action Protocol remains, and County Court proceedings will be issued following expiry of this 30 day period, without any further reference to you.
If you are at all unsure of your legal position, you may wish to seek independent legal advice"
Can you please advise what evidence they want me to present? The driver left the car park 7 min after the paid time expired and I believe this is within the grace period, eventhough Section 5 of the latest BPA Code of Practice doesn't mention how many minutes the grace period should be…
Do they expect me to go back to this car park and make a video of how long it takes to get in and out?I am seeking advise from my "legal team" :) Thx

Ignore them and wait for the inevitable N1SDT court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL to arrive in the post in due course

"Can you please advise what evidence they want me to present?"
Doesn't matter. You will not reply.
Ignore them and await the Claim Form. The end game is the best bit!

Hi All,
I received a claim form while I was abroad and just saw the papers today wneh I arrived hoem. It was issued on 30th of March and today is 19 of April. I managed to acknowledge the claim today and I hope I am not too late. Are Bank holidays extending those 14 days for response at all? Thanks

Your AOS deadline is Monday 20th April and your Defence deadline is Tuesday 5th May.

With an issue date of 30/03/26 and having completed the AoS in a timely manner your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 05/05/26

Hi all please see my claim form:
I want to defend on the basis that I was within the grace period. I want to use the template from this post;

Would that be ok in my case as well? Thanks for advice!0 -
Your password is unredacted ( I used to work near there. )
You weren't within the accepted minimum grace period of 10 minutes, but are denying the POC , so use the generic denial seen in other recent ECP DCB LEGAL cases on here
Do not use wording from 2019, only last year or preferably this year
