Selling Octopus VCT Shares

I've been trying to sell my >5yr old VCT shares so I can reinvest in a non-VCT ISA. Octopus is entitled to only offer a buy-back window when they see fit, but there hasn't been one for over 12-months. I'm therefore going to the open market and looking for a recommendation on how best to sell these. I realise there'll be a price below NAV, and I may not know the sell price until a buyer is found, but I'm looking for a trusted platform to make this transaction. Thanks!

It was a good few years ago, but I sold my old Albion VCT shares at best and got a live quote which was quite reasonable. I transferred them into Interactive Investor from the outset to benefit from a trail commission rebate. YMMV. I think only one of them caused any difficulty, and I just tried again later when I couldn't get a quote the first time.

What do you mean by "at best"?

You tell your stockbroker to sell your shares at the best price it can find in the moment it can find a buyer.

Could you transfer them in specie to iWeb (soon to be Scottish Widows Share Trading)? You need to check that it offers these securities but otherwise £5 per trade and no account fee.

    Which Octopus VCT is it?
