Unable to switch, Collective Nov26 tariff

When I follow the instructions and log in to my CEC account, this tariff doesn't appear in the list despite my being eligible (pay by DD, CEC member). How can I sign up for this tariff?

After contacting Cec they acknowledged there had been a technical error and I got the option to change tariff, I assumed this was fixed for everyone but maybe not. Best contact cec and explain your problem.
  • Yes I'm an existing BG customer. Have emailed CEC, no reply yet

Try changing your current supplier details in Cheap Energy Club to one that isn't BG. This has worked for others in your situation.

  • Same problem here. I changed the current supplier details and it seemed to work. Had email from MSE saying switch was in progress. I rang British Gas who said no switch request had been made. Emailed MSE but no reply as yet.

  • Changed supplier name in CEC and the tariff then appeared in the list. Have signed up today and had an email from CEC saying switch successful, not heard from BG yet. Emailed CEC yesterday and had reply today which also suggested changing current provider in CEC profile. Clearly a glitch that fails to show tariff if you are already with that supplier. Annoying but it seems that I've now resolved the issue (assuming the switch goes ahead, wait and see)
