Appeal rejected, should I take it down formal route

Not sure if worth pursuing this or just pay.
Entered car park at 9.47am
Paid for parking ticket by 9.49 using Ringo. 4 hours for expiry 13.49
Received a PCN with a photo of me exiting carp ark at 13.58pm.
Appealed as within 10 min grace period of paid ticket
They rejected appeal as they have gone on the time I entered not paid for the ticket.
With this logic, pretty much everyone would overstay the paid parking.
It is Smart parking company who are pursuing this for breach of contract. But you have to display a purchased parking ticket which I have and have the ticket.
Thank you in advance for any advice or experience

Nobody pays Smart Parking, nor do they ever have to at court claim stage. These cases are all huff'n'puff and are discontinued. No hearings, no CCJ, no risk and you don't even need to write your own defence in full as we have a template that sees these cases off.
It would be utter madness to pay.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
