ECP Weavers Wharf PCN following Premier Inn stay - ticket purchased via Ring Go app

Hi,
Following a a stay at the Premier in in Kidderminster I received a PCN from Euro Car Parks despite having bought the correct ticket using the Ring Go app.
Before discovering this fantastic site I naively appealed to ECP straight away thinking that their system had not tied up the RingGo payment with the parking session. I sent them confirmation of the ticket purchase (screenshots from Ring Go) and presumed (wrongly!) that that would be sufficient to end the matter.
In submitting the appeal I may have (I can't actually remember) committed what I now know to be the cardinal sin of admitting that I was both the driver and keeper of the vehicle.
ECP rejected the appeal on the basis that the ticket purchased did not cover the full duration of the stay (which it clearly did) and so I now need to progress an appeal to POPLA. In looking for help with this, I found this site.
I have phoned the Premier Inn and the member of staff advised that they could not help as they don't have any process to rescind the parking notices with ECP. They did advise that they get a lot of issues with ECP at this location and that they have raised it with the wider Management Company for the retail park but that they (Mgmt co) always refer them to ECP, for which they don't have any contact process (so it goes round in circles). I don't actually think that's good enough from Premier Inn regarding the protection of their paying customers, but I got the impression from the person I spoke to at the hotel that they are as frustrated about all of this as the customers are.
I have now compiled a draft appeal for POPLA and would be grateful for any feedback and advice - please see draft wording in the Dropbox link below (as a newbie I cant upload photos etc, and the draft text is too long to post). I have cobbled it to together from a number of threads on this forum as I couldn't find anything that actually matched all the circumstances here.

The main point I am appealing is that I actually bought the correct ticket (Evening session from 4pm-10am) albeit ECP seem to be saying I didn't buy it quickly enough and therefore it doesn't cover the parking duration....
I am not sure if S6 is relevant now given my confession to being the Driver and that I bought a ticket, albeit I am effectively arguing that the NTK is not compliant - should this still be included?

Here is a copy of the original NTK with the personal detail redacted:

I wouldn't bother mate.
I can see you paid at 16:55, so that's the reason for the ticket. Popla will just find against you.
Just ignore and wait for the court claim from DCB Legal, which will be discontinued once defended.1 -
Yep ignore.
Tell them if you move house. That is all.Still unsure that we are right?
Just click on the little red 'MSE link' in the small 'Parking Ticket Appeals' banner at the top of this page which leads to the MSE Guide to fight PCNs.
Same info is shown in both this forum and in that Guide, as regards the debt recovery letters being a futile stage and risk-free. Consistent advice here is easy to find and not just from random strangers. The MSE Guide is official 'Martin Lewis backed' advice.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you all for your help and support on this.
As I have actually drafted a proposed appeal to POPLA - the link is in the original post - is there any value/benefit (i.e. following due process etc.), or learning to be had by actually submitting it?0 -
The main point I am appealing is that I actually bought the correct ticket (Evening session from 4pm-10am) albeit ECP seem to be saying I didn't buy it quickly enough and therefore it doesn't cover the parking duration....Remind us of the timeline without us having to click on/create a working link:
(a) are you sure the RingGo session was for the right vehicle numberplate & right location Code?
(b) what time does the PCN have you entering and exiting?
(c) what time did the session cover?

a) Yes, the Ring Go session was correct vehicle and location - screenshots show this clearly.
b) The PCN says the vehicle entered at 16.07 and left at 09.43
c) the Ring Go session just says "ends 10 am".
As per my appeal , my issue is that both the signage (I didn't see this but ECP sent a copy of a sign in their appeal response) and the app offer evening parking from 4pm - 10 am for £6, and that's what I thought I was buying. I have all the screenshots for the Ring Go app process in the appeal doc.0 -
OK that sounds winnable at POPLA. Include all your evidence embedded in a single Word Document, written like an illustrated 'storybook' saved as a PDF.
Just as you see in at least one example in post 3 of the NEWBIES thread. That makes it very easy for the Assessor, no need for them to click on lots of uploaded evidence links.
I'm not even sure why they issued a PCN, from what you describe!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
