Quote for new flooring

I had a guy come to give me a quote for some LVT flooring. He gave me an itemised breakdown of costs. I know exactly what flooring it is that I want and when I look online, I could get it for around £450 (including VAT and delivery), but he's put it down for nearly £900. I appreciate he's perhaps adding money on maybe for sourcing and storing it until the work is done, but is that normal? It seems quite a lot.

Have you asked if he will lay the flooring if you provide it? Bear in mind that if there are any problems with the flooring after laying he will be able to blame the materials if he didn't supply them.Did your own price include any required underlay?0

That's what I need to ask. I didn't think it needed underlay. He's quoted for latexting the floor there as a separate cost, so I assumed that's all that was needed for this.0
