Tariff issues - E-On Next

Just wondering if anyone else is with E-On Next and trying to swap to a new tariff with them? Ours is due for renewal in 2 days, so I arranged a swap to a new tariff over a month ago. Since then all I’ve had is repeated emails prompting me to swap tariff, and yet another one this morning - my account shows my new tariff as the flex tariff even though I’ve put through a request to swap that they’ve assured me is on the system.

Is it just me? Is this also an issue that’s exclusive to E-on? I’m worrying now that the swap won’t go ahead - emailing their staff hasn’t been of much use sadly.

Switched my daughter last week and on line is showing new tariff commences on 7th, both old and new tariffs showing in the boxes.
How many days before tariff end did you initiate the switch ?

They have been great with me.  50 days before my tariff ended I got a new offer which was good so I accepted.  3 weeks later they were offering a better one so I messaged them and asked if I could be swapped to that one and they did so immediately.  I did it all through email.

Probably better to phone them up and raise a complaint to find out what's going on

    This.

There will be a record of your previous arrangement to switch tariffs to where they'll be able to backdate that tariff from where you've incorrectly been put on their default variable tariff.
