Hello everyone
Thanks for all your good wishes for DD and little one...apparently they were lovely and cosy in their little pod, watching The Greatest Showman in bed. They're home again now and are going to meet a friend at soft play this afternoon.
I'm feeling sorry for myself...I'm full of cold, coughing and sneezing and have such an upset stomach, I just tried some soup but had to run to the loo. I've a gammon joint in the slow cooker which I was looking forward to with cauliflower cheese but not today!
The wind has dropped here to just a normal breeze so I'm going to hang my washing out and then go back to bed with my book.
I've already messaged my boss to say I'll not be at work tomorrow.
Gers I hope your power isn't off for too long.
Eldest DD has been in Hamburg today doing one of her strange Hyrox competitions...apparently she can now run carrying kettlebells...
