Ex beneficiary to my 17 year old claim pip

My ex claims pip for my 17 year old and is his beneficiary. He has moved in with me his dad now month ago. And she will not phone to change it over to myself. She's getting carers, mobility and his pip money. All he gets from her is around 30/40 week if that. How do I change it over to myself. As she's said not doing it!

How do you mean by beneficiary? Do you mean she is his appointee? Or do you mean his PIP is paid into her bank account?

He needs to contact the DWP and tell them he either does no longer need an appointee and will manage the claim himself OR he wants to change the appointee to yourself. He should update his address whilst doing that.

As has been posted above, the appointee can be changed. Your son will need to contact the DWP, if this is possible. Also see the following https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/removing-an-appointee

Or her. The appointee can hand over responsibility to an adult.
