How likely will I save with MSE Big Switch?

I would really appreciate any guidance.
My current energy cost is lower than the British Gas 14mth fix and as this is all based on predictions, I'm not sure whether to take a gamble.
Currently on a Price-Capped tariff with Home Energy, currently paying £1,873/yr.
Estimated MSE prediction for 1 Jan 2026 is £2,230 (with slight increase after that).
(I don't quite understand that, as that's a 19% increase - not the average 2% increase that MSE stated. Obviously I'm misunderstanding something there.)
Anyway, the British Gas collective fix works out to £1,944 a year, an increase of £50 (including £20 cashback).
How likely is it that the MSE prediction (increase to £2230) will be correct, is it worth the gamble?
Home Energy claim to be the cheapest variable energy supplier on the market (12.9% cheaper than the Ofgem cap throughout 2025). My energy costs are not changing despite Ofgem raising the price cap from 1st October.

What are the unit prices and daily charges of each of the tariffs you are quoting ? You need to ensure all comparisons are based on the same annual consumption figures. The energy cap is based on 2700 kWh electric and 11000 kWh gas, anything other than those exact figures will give a different price.1

Check kWh not £
If you know your annual usage in both Electric and Gas it’s a simple maths plus standing charges X 365
Forget estimates and predictions
Stick to the facts of what you use and that should give you the best outcome
Lastly try to find a no exit fee and you can’t go wrong1
