Travel Insurance dilemma

I currently have an Annual Multi-trip policy which ends 31st October. The Insurance company I am currently with (and have been for a number of years) is becoming very expensive so I have been getting quotes from other companies. I would like to change to another company on 1st November for continuity, but I have a dilemma about the following.
I have 2 holidays already booked abroad for next year, if for any reason I had to claim on a holiday, which company would I claim against..old or new company.

Depends when the event happens that leads to your needing to cancel.

It would be prudent to read the terms of your old policy, if the event happens before you defect but you only find out after you've switched it may cause issues.

Your cover with existing company expires on 31 October. As does their responsibility to you as a customer.
