Confused.com I cannot use my free Sainsbury's eGift card

I have contacted Confused.com but apparently they take 5 to 7 days to reply.
Has
anyone else had a problem? There I was in Sainsbury's must admit only
went there because Confused.com confirmed my gift had been verified.
Went
to use the card, error code advised to try refreshing the screen, did,
even went out side and restarted the app. So no help from Sainsbury's
at the store. At home got on to Sainsbury's menu system, got through to
their eGift card section, will not do a thing without an eGift card
number. Pointed out their system would not give me the number.
Eventually got told they would email their systems people, but would not
give me a case number, and as I had used up 16 minutes of their time
unless there was something else could I end the call.
Confused.com I cannot find a contact email or telephone number, filled in their form yesterday, not even an acknowledgement.
Next insurance will be done through a different comparison site, what do you recommend?

I don’t think waiting 5 to 7 days is particularly unreasonable.And there are other contact methods:

Bought home insurance using Confused on 29th October. Policy went live on 9th November with Hastings . Downloaded Confused app to get my £20 voucher . App says access denied to rewards page despite it showing my home insurance details and me picking my reward online . Have tried to get Confused to respond to my messages but getting no response to my inquiry about where is my voucher .
WHY !
I am disappointed at the extremely slow and negative response to my simple inquiry . Simple inquiry could be fixed with a 2 min phone call but instead it has taken days of messages and emails to get any response from anybody at Confused .com . Called Hastings to complain and they were surprised that Confused has no customer phone line support .
Still says on Confused app as of today, 2nd December that access to my rewards page is denied .

Had a reply [at last ] from Confused telling me to contact Hastings to cancel my policy with them !
Completely ignoring that my complaint is with Confused about the non appearance of my promised voucher .
What a pantomime !
