Blink doorbell problem

I have a Blink doorbell as well as a sync 2 module.
The problem is that when motion is detected or someone rings the doorbell the notification is delayed for up to 5 secs before my phone receives it.
Anyone else have this problem, or suggestions on how to remove the delay.

Five seconds is pretty quick, given the doorbell is having to send that notification to you via the internet.

If you want faster, swap out for a wired doorbell, or a wireless model that connects to its own chimer.

I have a Nest doorbell, and quickly realised when the internet was down we didn't know people were knocking on the door - luckily it had the option of having a wired chime which I added.  It tends to chime a good five to ten seconds before all the displays and speakers around the house go off.

Yep that’s standard with the blink. Think they work okay compared to others but I don’t have a subscription, just an SD card

Mine is linked to the original mains doorbell so the original rings well in advance of the web notification.
