Morning all

Pouring  with rain here and set in for the day we are not under a weather warning though, take care those that are x.    

Off to get my nails done today so the world will be put  to rights with my lovely nail lady, I think I will go for a dark autumnal colour today.

I messaged the new lady’s mum yesterday to say thanks but no thanks, I said if anything comes up during the week to let me know but that I just won’t work weekends, she messaged back to say she completely understood, I think she knew that she had pushed it a bit.

Wm is on and doing its thing, the washing can go on the airer I might light the fire later so the airer can go to the side of that for the night, it should be dry by tomorrow.

Not sure about dinner tonight but I really fancy a Chinese so may go for that it will save cooking.

Morning all and thanks @Gers for starting today's thread.  @camelot - So sorry to hear you had such a bad night and ended up at the hospital, take care. X

It rained overnight here but I slept through it so have no idea how bad it was (apologies to those who had a bad night's sleep) and this morning is looking cloudy and somewhat damp underfoot.  Still feeling fairly mild with showers possible at any time, followed by heavy rain and gusty winds from mid-afternoon onwards.

All jobs done yesterday as planned but I missed last night's All Creatures because I nodded off - I can catch up on that today when I have my lunchtime break.  A new general waste bin to replace the missing one has appeared in the bin yard, not sure when that happened but we're back up to full quota now.  Usual end of week admin to do today and a quick rummage to see if there's anything else to go in the CS bag that will hopefully leave the house soon (next week?).  Tea tonight will be a piece of fresh fish with parsley sauce, baby potatoes and peas.
