Latest big fix I’m told not eligible with British Gas

Today’s email states that current users are included. I’m with British Gas but having gone through the process and told I’m not eligible and the British gas offer does not appear amongst the offers although the EDF and octopus energy ones do. I’m very puzzled. Is this a glitch?

Sorry, I meant big switch not big fix!
I’m trying to get the stated 14 month fix I stated in today’s email. The information relating to the refusal in terms of email address and direct debits and whatever appears not to apply so cannot work it out.

Same for me, I already have a cheap energy club account and my supplier details are all listed but it says I'm not eligible!

I've had exactly the same issue! I meet all the criteria but am apparently not eligible. Very frustrating.

is it possible that one of the moderators or someone else in authority is able to elevate this issue to the powers that be pretty please nicely?

Just for completeness I am with exclusive fixed  v74 although this is not quite offered as an option when updating/editing my details as the word direct is placed before exclusive fix which is unusual because the website usually offers all the variations baiting.

Been lots of similar postings in the last couple of days.

I am wondering with the Price Cap rise coming into effect yesterday, that many people,without a smart meter, are inputing their meter readings and the volume is causing some of the problems we have been hearing about.

Had, probably stupidly, assumed the email was fresh out today whereas from your comment it had been distributed in tranches over several days. As a result, I had not looked back for previous posts so apologies for that.

Have you tried changing your current supplier in the Cheap Energy Club (not in reality!) to one that isn't Octopus?

Try this. It worked for me. 

Just bear in mind the results won't show true savings, so you'll have to do your own maths.
