Switch or stay with EDF Simply Fixed Direct Aug26v2

Hi All,

I got excited to switch and save some money, but it looks like the majority of my saving will come from the GAS switch and the ELECTRICITY is minimal, and particularly worrying as the standing charge with the BG deal is a lot higher than EDF. I also don't like the exit fees....

Any thoughts on whether I should stay or go? The Energy Club says I'll save approx £124 per year, but £90+ of that is with the gas. I'm worried about the higher standing charges and being locked in... what are the chances of better deals coming along before my current tariff ends etc?

Thanks!

i'm also on the same edf tariff with zero exit fees and saving would be £75 12months
staying put on the edf deal, but watching closely at the deals
