We did it!
I emailed them and asked for our court costs to be reimbursed and got this reply today…We write in relation to the above matter.
Upon review of the matter and in the interest of assisting the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our Client is agreeable to withdrawing their Claim and making payment of £50.00 on the condition that you withdraw your Counterclaim.
We can confirm that upon receipt of the withdrawal our Client's Claim will be withdrawn and the payment will be made.

1. They obviously read all emails and have the capability to answer immediately when they want to.2. A counterclaim really spooks them and messes with their business model. Scope for fun there.2 -
