MSE Big ~Switch BG deal - new customer

Good morning all,

I see the 14 month British Gas Tariff from the MSE Big Switch offer. I would like to avail of this offer for a property I'm buying and 'complete' on 3 November. Can I use this 'Switch' offer and how do I go about that - everything looks like a switch for a house at which I already reside.

Often energy suppliers let new customer choose switch date when signing up.

Note that the current householders will be informed of your switch request and will have the opportunity to refuse it.

If current householders are moving out why would they refuse switch request related to new owner/occupier ???

If you are responsible for Energy billing at current address you could change to BG at current address and ask BG to move tariff to new address.

Only the current owner of the OP's future property can answer that. Hopefully OP will contact them and let them know that they've signed up for the switch, to reduce the risk of them cancelling it.
