Driving Insurance

I should shortly receive my full driving licence back from DVLA after a 6 month revocation for a minor injury. I have started to look for insurance after declaring on the Money Expert site "YES" to the question "Have you or any drivers ever had insurance declined, cancelled, voided or special terms imposed". My preference is to continue with the previous insurance where I was a named driver on my wife's policy but am open to start a new one. Can any one please help as to whether any other issues might arise that would impact on this situation?

Why are you answering yes? Did you not decide to cancel the insurance rather than being caught out driving when told not to?

I would go to a local insurance broker.  There you have a face to face discussion rather than having 'the computer says.....' if working on line.  Comparison sites are designed for 'normal' situations and any variance from that has them panicking.
