IAS appeal on signage or hide behind keeper?

Bank Park £60 notice issued on fleet company van, passed to me via employer and they have rejected appeal (don't imagine they are read). The site is Waitrose, Burgess Hill. Who would have thought visiting such a nice shop would hide a cunning trap! I've returned, photographed entrance signage and it appears not compliant with Code due to wording and lettering size, but there seems to be some 'grace' period where existing operators needn't meet current signage rules. Reading others' threads it seems an appeal to IAS is pretty futile anyway
Bank Park have my email but not address. Could I instruct fleet company (keeper) that I am dealing with it and would not pay anything they chose to pay on my behalf, and pass to hire (my employer)? Or perhaps they are not allowed to pay? Thinking that without my address, Bank Park might not be able to sell the charge to a debt collector. Thanks for any advice.

Bank Park have my email but not address.Well that is a problem because you need the fleet company to transfer liability which means they must provide your name and address.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The fleet company passed the notice to my employer, who gave it to me. My appeal, rejected without acknowledging any of the evidence I submitted, included photos which I think demonstrate that the entrance sign does not conform. I parked, shopped and left without knowing that this branch of Waitrose did not allow free parking to use their store, so Bank Park's 'charge' seems like robbery.
If I do appeal to IAS and lose, Bank Park have my email only. Will this dissuade them from debt collection? If so, could I tell the fleet co. that I am dealing with it and NOT to pay meanwhile then pass cost on to the hirer (my employer)?
Paying even £60 would be awful, but I don't really want to be subjected to long term harassment when it might involve my employer.0 -
You need the Fleet Co and your employer removed from the equation NOW.
I would appeal to the IAS and admit to driving and give your postal address at the start. That way, this is your case to ignore after that, if and when the kangaroo court of IAS reject it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
