Yes, I realise now! And I wouldn't try to replicate wood in any case.
No, they're MDF with a melamine 'foil'. Most likely I'll be sticking with my original plan of hand painting them.

Interesting, but the doors have frames and surrounds - ie they sit inside decorative outer frames. Far too hard to have a sheet applied.

I'll be sticking to paint :-)
