Received Mediation date

Hi everyone, I have received my mediation date of 30/10/2025. They have attached a form on the bottom of the email confirming my date.
Daft question, but do I fill this form in and send it back?
I've checked the defence template thread and can see they're only like 5 minutes long too. Is this still true in Oct 2025 and just need to summarise my defence to them?

2) correct
3) no, you are discussing a monetary settlement, not the case itself ( or, no offer, thank you and goodbye )
Here is one recent example, but dozens more feedback posts if you search for them

"and just need to summarise my defence to them"
That's the standard Mediation blurb for all cases but you don't need to be bullied into doing that or making any offer. Just call it out as a scam and ask the Mediator why they are propping up parking cases?
It makes me quite angry when we hear Mediators speaking as if they are on the side of the Claimant and making people think they are risking costs. It's not true in parking cases. Don't stand for it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
