Received Mediation date

Hi everyone, I have received my mediation date of 30/10/2025. They have attached a form on the bottom of the email confirming my date.
Daft question, but do I fill this form in and send it back?

I've checked the defence template thread and can see they're only like 5 minutes long too. Is this still true in Oct 2025 and just need to summarise my defence to them?

    1)  You can reply with a confirmation

    2)  correct

    3)  no, you are discussing a monetary settlement,  not the case itself  ( or, no offer, thank you and goodbye   )

Here is one recent example, but dozens more feedback posts if you search for them

Just to update on my mediation from today. Had the call that lasted 5 minutes in total, offered me £200 to start with and I said a fiver, which they obviously declined and then went to £150 and I said no and will see them in court.

I'm guessing that's the start of the end now and will hopefully be discontinued soon? Fingers crossed.

It wont happen soon, it will be next year just before the hearing fee deadline for payment by the claimant,  so in 6 to 12 months time

Oh wow that's a long time to wait! Guess I'll be back here then with a hopeful discontinuation letter.
