VWFS Charges?

Just returned a vehicle to VWFS and the inspection has found a broken/snapped boot hook (the little plastic thing that the parcel shelf loops onto).
They are trying to charge £280 for it (see pic).
Does anyone have any experience with VWFS, it seems ridiculous!
Many thanks in advance

It might seem a lot but that looks like you'd have to replace the whole plastic panel so the price is probably about what you'd expect for parts and labourRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1

If it's a VW service that would replace it it will be very high priced. I had an issue with a VW up that the dealership wanted over £1k to sort but Haskins did it for £50. Sadly the vehicle has now gone, so no chance of fixing myself.
Anyone else had experience with VWFS and getting them to back down?0 -

Why did you return it broken rather than fix it before?1 -
I had one of those snap, cost me about £2 to get a replacement from eBay that was slightly bigger , drilled a hole and pushed new one through.
sorry that’s no help now0 -
