Car damage bumper - fix

I have some damage to my rear bumper - pictures provided
My car is on PCP and I have a year and a half left of the contract before I return it.
I’ve been quoted £350 for the damage to be repaired by garages.
Do people think I would be better off getting the damage fixed myself or should I leave it?
Has anyone had experience of the dealership charging them more for the damage if I returned it damaged. Or should I get it fixed myself before it’s returned ?

Leave it until closer to the end of your agreement then look for a local SMART repairer.
They'll do a localised repair for a fraction of what the body shop charges.1 -

what is a SMART repairer as I’ve never heard of that before. Only body shop repair garages. Some of whom charge a fortune0 -
Chipsaway could do that1

Technology.
It's a localised repair rather than preping and painting whole panels like a body shop would.
There are national (usually franchised operators) and local mobile companies that will usually come to you and they'll carry all the kit with them in a van.
I've even seen they put up tented "spray booths" around cars to get the best finish possible.
Pricing depends on what size and sort of damage.
I've not had any done recently, but around 5 years ago it was around £50 or £60 for a 10 inch scratch on a door.
Google is your friend, just search "Smart repair near me".

They’ve given me a quote. Almost half the price compared to the garagesMikeJXE said:Chipsaway could do that1 -
Don't do until the end of the contract, you will be a tad miffed if your rear ended next week!1

That had crossed my mind! I’m gonna get it fixed however and see what the difference is between the value of my car / finance left and see if it’s worth ending angreement early. Orrrrr someone like Arnold Clarke buying my car - I’ll obvs get more value for a car with no body work damageArunmor said:Don't do until the end of the contract, you will be a tad miffed if your rear ended next week!0
