Dont want to duplicate but I have searched and cant find a recent thread on this?
The best I have found this week
are
Bradford and Bingley at %6.8 annual and %6.6 for monthly interest
although I did read another post saying these might vanish from 5th Jan so you need to apply online today.
The other is from Chelsea launching tommorow at %6.9 for annual and %6.69 for monthly( just rung them to check the monthly rate.
Does anyone have anymore to add as I am shopping for bonds at the moment but want to act before the next interest rate drop?

Here's my top tip at the moment:
NS&I don't usually have very good rates, but if you are a taxpayer you might want to check out their 3-year index-linked savings certificates. RPI inflation averaged 4.3% last year, and with 1.35% on top that works out at 5.65% tax-free. Of course, RPI fluctuates every month so you're taking a slight gamble on inflation staying high, but then it does look likely to rise for some time to come.
For basic rate taxpayers I reckon that's the equivalent of 7.0625% gross, and for higher rate taxpayers the present returns work out at a staggering 9.4166%.
Definitely worth a look.
