Manchester airport fine appeal refused

Hello everyone,

Just looking for a bit of advice really. I received a parking fine for T3 drop off zone at Manchester airport. I tried to appeal it with APCOA but unfortunately did not see the template on this forum until after the fact. Once it was rejected I found the template and tried to appeal with POPLA which has also been rejected for apparently "changing my mind" when at no point in the initial appeal did I state I was the driver. Is it advisable to just ignore the fine now or do I just need to suck it up and pay it? How likely are APCOA to take me to court if I do ignore them?
Thank you in advance

Please show the full POPLA decision in the POPLA DECISIONS thread, but add ten paragraph breaks to break it up to read.

    You can ignore APCOA.

As above ignore them and debt recovery plus
  • So, if I ignore them and debt recovery, is it likely they would take it further to court?

    They won't, they never do.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hello,

So as advised I have ignored the letters from the debt recovery company. However, I have now received a formal notice of debt recovery from Empira limited. I've been away for a month so am now well past the 14 day deadline they've given me. Do I ignore Empira Ltd too or what should I do next?

    Thanks in advance

Its Gladstones, so ignore an Empira Letter

Wait for the Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice
