Smart Parking fine - Ok Diner

Hi,

I received a PCN at OK Diner (service station) from Smart Parking. Signage is up which states 'customer use only' which I believe your reg plate had to be entered inside.

I literally used the bathroom and images show my vehicle with arrival/exit times from 10:47 - 10:57.

Do I have any grounds for appeal? I've attached the letter and signage

It's POFA worded - keeper liability.

But no paying this scam. Just ignore them, as there is no real appeal for any IPC AOS member.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I got caught out in the same place. My son and I parked here in two cars at 22.02 until 22.16 on the 07/07/2026 and got two tickets from smart parking two weeks later. The ok diner was shut, the car park was empty, and the only sign we saw was the one in the original poster’s picture. I think I have grounds for appeal, but I just wanted to check what coupon-mad means in his reply. Does he mean it is better to ignore the ticket altogether than to appeal it ?

Her reply. ! Yes its probably best to ignore them for now , but

Please start a new thread about your case or cases

Smart Parking are liable to reject any appeal, even if Burnham made it. !

Check if your NTK PCN letter complies with Pofa2012, or not
