Didn't receive any parking tickets then received letter from Moorside Legal

I received a letter yesterday 29th September dated 21st.

Just stating
'Case information : Parking Control Management UK Limited - Reg No............
Letter before claim just stating their client has instructed them to collect the outstanding balance on their behalf.
I owe £170.00 for an unpaid invoice.

I called as I was confused as I haven't really driven in the last 3 months due to an injury.
They do not state any information regarding the offence just that I owe them money.

I called. This offence was for back in Jan 2025. I haven't received one single letter through the post regarding a parking fine. This letter is the first time I'm hearing of this.
I was at a shopping centre and from the 'evidence' I am slightly straddled over the white line due to how the 2 cars have parked next to me. It was that long ago (8 months ago) I do not remember.
AND IF I did do that it means the car park must've been busy/full and that was the only space at the time other than that I always park perfectly between the lines which is 9/10.

I called yesterday 29th the woman I spoke to clearly stated the information they have for me on file, she had the wrong contact number and also the wrong email address. The only thing that was right was my postal address as it would be as I've lived here pretty much all my life.

I asked to see evidence of the offence and requested date and time stamp. The only thing that could be provided was the date and time stamp. She claimed the pictures have been uploaded onto the online portal which. I was able to access every other page for the online portal except the one that provided the actual evidence. The line died. At this point they had closed.

I've reached out again today 30th Sept. and coincidentally I end up being on the line with the same woman I had spoken to the previous day. All of a sudden she couldn't provide me with the original contact information they had on file for me. Surely you would think they would keep some form of paper trail for filing. Again still unable to provide me evidence to see the offence, and refused to send it me through email as everything has to be handled on the online portal.

Due to the fact that this is the first time hearing of this 'offence' I don't think I should pay it.
I've had 1 parking ticket in the past (which was to a fault of my own) and I happily paid it within the first 14 days.

She said I have 30 days from the date of the letter to make any sort of payment, otherwise I will be taken to court.
I have read reviews on other forums regarding this company saying they are scammers and money grabbers.

Has anyone every experienced this before? Any advice on how to tackle this would be appreciated as the only evidence I have is this letter, I've made a note of the 2 phone calls day, time etc. Screen shots of the online portal showing how I am able to access every page on the account and the supposed page where the 'evidence' has been uploaded.

The fine is originally from PCM Ltd, and they had sent letters 3 times and I haven't received a single one.
Majority of my documents are electronic now and the only physical mail I do get is parcels and if I do receive letters I ALWAYS open them.
