Old UPV doors adjustment ..

A bit of advice please on how to adjust ( if possible ) some old UPVC doors which closes fine but when the handle is pulled to lock it seems to be catching on something -  I have removed all the " brass sections which fit on the frame and it is still the same so guessing it is the angle of the door .

Problem is I cant see how to access the adjustment screw or where it is .. I have tried round metal section on the top to see if it is a cap but seems to be one piece running all the way through and there is no adjustment hole on the bottom .  It is around 20 odd years old so not too sure if these had the adjustment part. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure it is the hinge side that needs adjusting? I had a similar problem earlier this year - I could close the door but couldn't pull the handle up fully to lock it. I called out someone who showed me that on the door catch (the part on the door jamb) there are two allen key holes which adjusts the line-up to the door part. He said that these can slowly move out of alignment as the door gets opened and closed, especially in the extremely hot weather we had so it is just a matter of making a tiny adjustment. I'm not explaining it very well but if the door closes properly then it seems the problem may be the opposite side to the hinges.

With the door open , when you pull the handle up do all the locking pins etc all move the full distance?
These locking mechanisms do not last forever.

Yes it all moves as it should and been oiled , just checked again  and it looks as though the latch which comes out when the handles is lifted is a bit loose so comes out at an angle hitting the " holder " ...
