Need to find new insurance cover for property still waiting for probate

Recently my mom received a letter from her current policyholder, the AA, saying that they could no longer insure her because the probate on my late step-dad's estate still hasn't been completed. My mom lives in the house and owns half of the house. She is not an executor so she can't do anything about that but the executors (2 of my step dad's kids) aren't speaking to her despite her best attempts so it is making things rather difficult. Can anybody recommend an insurance carrier who might be able to help and perhaps any advice for her? Thanks.

She is the policyholder, the AA is likely the broker and there will be another named firm who's the actual insurer/underwriter.

Given she is part owner and occupier would have thought most would be comfortable insuring it. Get quotes in the normal way and before buying it check with the company of your choice to ensure they are happy with the situation.
